Visual Nomads

After a year in Kuwait and 6 months away from Esther I decided to take a trip somewhere the two of us could spend some time together. We needed somewhere cheap and exciting to go for a fairly long duration and Esther had never been to Thailand before. Since I have been here a couple times before, I pretty much knew what to expect and where to go, so we decided to come to Thailand for about 40 days.

We spent a couple days in Bangkok and are now in Pattaya. We were able to get a studio apartment for about $500 for the full month which comes out to about $16/day. The location is perfect because we are away from the noisy tourist streets (Walking St.), but only about a 5 minute taxi ride which costs about $1 for both of us.

Well I have been back in Sacramento for several days now. Seems like everything has changed since I left. It was nice to be able to hang out with some friends like Jennika, Stephanie, and Jenn.

Next week I will be driving to Phoenix to store some things, then fly to Thailand on the 20th of April. Exciting times coming up!
