543 days and a wakeup
Well it has been a while since I have posted anything. I have been pretty busy this last week. This was my last weekend before my deployment after all.
Last weekend I went to Las Vegas with Stephanie and celebrated. We stayed at the Tropicana right on the strip. Not a fancy hotel, but it was nice enough. We did the usual… gambled, walked the strip, and saw a show. We ended up seeing Carrot Top who was funny as shit! We spent a couple days there and drove back to Sacramento on Tuesday.
Thursday I reported here to Camp Parks in Dublin, CA. Its not too bad here, but it is a little chilly. So far all we have done is paperwork and briefings. Nothing very exciting yet.
Today I was interviewed by 2 TV stations though! That was pretty cool, but the second guy was a dick and manipulated everything we said to make us look like idiots. The interviews took about an hour and a half and they only put like a 10 second clip in there. At least it got me out of doing something lame like briefings.
I have some pictures from Vegas and also some from the interviews I will upload when I have a faster connection. Right now I am just using my phone where I only get about 20kps.
